Greetings everyone! We hope your week has been going well.

Interestingly, the changelog for this update was so massive that it exceeded Reddit's 40,000-character limit, making it impossible to post there in full.

🚀 The Road Ahead

Our current focus is on polishing the experience, squashing bugs, and integrating community feedback. It is important to note that 2.1 is still a work in progress.

def development_status():
    status = "Active"
    pace = "Thoughtful"
    # Not "Turbo 100% Full Throttle" due to planned vacations
    return f"The team is {status} and moving at a {pace} pace."

print(development_status())

We are not rushing the stable release. We intend to make every tweak and decision with care. To be clear: our team is not abandoning the project jumping ship. While 2.1 might represent the final major update for Factorio, our passion for the game remains as strong as ever.

📅 Friday Facts Update

Now that the experimental version is live, we will be scaling back the frequency of the Friday Facts blog. We will no longer adhere to a strict weekly schedule. However, we still have plenty of interesting things to share, so these are definitely not the final entries.
