🎯 The Role: Developer Advocate & Partnerships
This isn't a standard marketing role. We need a hybrid engineer-storyteller who can own partnerships from the first "hello" to the final commit.
You aren't just writing blog posts. You are building the bridge between Manufact and the rest of the AI ecosystem.
Your Weekly Rhythm
- Monday: Architecting a demo that links
mcp-useto a partner's API. - Wednesday: Presenting on stage at a technical meetup.
- Friday: Publishing the documentation and blog post that makes the integration accessible to thousands.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Outreach: Identify and execute collaborations with AI infra and dev-tool companies.
- Technical Implementation: Build actual integrations and demos between Manufact Cloud and partner products.
- Content Engine: Produce high-quality videos, GitHub examples, and technical guides.
- Project Management: Manage multiple parallel workstreams and timelines independently.
- Product Feedback: Act as the voice of the developer, funneling community insights back to Engineering and Marketing.
- Brand Evolution: Define the "voice" of Manufact as we scale our community presence.
👤 Who You Are
Core Requirements
- You can independently build lightweight apps, integrations, and demos.
- You are a multi-modal content creator (written, video, and live speaking).
- You are a self-starter who doesn't need a manager to set your pace.
- Mandatory: You have already experimented with the
mcp-useSDK or Manufact.
🌟 Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- Deep experience with Generative AI, agents, or MCP.
- Direct contributions to
modelcontextprotocol/*or your own custom MCP servers. - A visible footprint in the dev community (X, GitHub, personal blog, or OSS maintenance).
- A track record of managing co-marketing or technical partnerships.
- Previous experience in DevRel or developer-facing engineering.
