🛠️ The Role: Engineering the "Tip of the Spear"

As a Full Stack Engineer, you won't just be writing code; you'll be architecting the foundation of Hazel's platform. This specific position is dedicated to deploying and scaling our AI for our largest contract with one of the most critical U.S. government entities.

Key Focus Areas:

• Customization: Tailoring the platform for unique operational environments.
• Accreditation: Owning the security accreditation process.
• Deployment: Bringing AI into production within classified networks.

Your Daily Impact

• Define and execute projects aligned with the federal and commercial roadmaps.
• Optimize engineering structures specifically for classified environments.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to translate strategic priorities into technical solutions.
• Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous performance and security standards.
• Work onsite in Washington D.C. to facilitate deployment on classified networks.

💻 Technical Requirements

We are looking for a developer who is comfortable across the entire stack and adept at using modern AI-assisted coding tools.

Our Tech Stack:

• Languages: Python, TypeScript
• Frontend: React, Next.js
• Backend/Data: PostgreSQL, Docker
• Infrastructure: AWS (Cloud Infrastructure), Terraform / CDK (IaC)
• DevOps: GitHub, CodePipeline (CI/CD)
• Security: SAML, SSO, IdP (Auth N/Auth Z)
• AI Tooling: Proficiency with Cursor or Claude Code

Qualifications

• Must Have: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
  • Note: We are willing to sponsor new clearances for the right candidate.
• Travel: Willingness to spend $\approx 25\%$ of your time onsite with customers (all expenses covered).
