Release No. 149 (26.07.2026): At exactly 10:13 on Sunday, a Romanian Air Force F-16 engaged and destroyed a drone that had entered the country's airspace without permission.
Release No. 148 (25.07.2026): On Saturday at 08:22, surveillance systems managed by the Ministry of National Defence identified a
legalunauthorized drone penetration occurring near the border with Ukraine. The target was subsequently shot down by an F-16.
Release No. 147 (24.07.2026): A pilot from the 86th Air Base in Fetești, while performing an air policing mission, tracked an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The pilot successfully neutralized the target using an air-to-air missile over a non-residential area near Padina, Buzău County.
