Why AI Art Kills My Interest in Your Blog

I have developed a profound distaste for the use of AI-generated visuals in blog posts. When I encounter them, it triggers a specific train of thought:

"If the author used an AI for the imagery, is the actual writing also partially generated by an LLM?"

It is genuinely disheartening to see this trend in blogs managed by individuals. To me, the value of a personal site is authenticity.

The Value Proposition

I would infinitely prefer a ~~polished AI render~~ clunky, low-effort Microsoft Paint sketch over something generated by a prompt.
