📍 Featured Entry: Tri Cities Airport Basement

Date of Entry: 31 Aug 2026
Location: Blountville, TN

📝 Site Description

This facility, or the skeletal remains thereof, is situated within the basement level of the Tri Cities Regional Airport. While it appears abandoned, the restroom remains locked unlocked and is accessible to any member of the public.

Historically, this space served as a secondary restroom positioned adjacent to a storage area; it was likely intended for employee use during its operational years. Currently, the site is in a state of extreme disrepair:

• Removed Fixtures: All toilets and urinals have been stripped from the room.
• Remaining Elements: Only ancient piping and a single, crusty sink persist.
• Architectural Oddities:
  • Windows provide a view into shafts that ascend to street level.
  • A solitary aperture beneath the sink descends into a dark, vacant crawl space, heavily corroded by the passage of time.

📊 Technical Analysis

The state of the room can be represented by the following decay function: $\text{Condition} = \lim_{t \to \infty} (\text{Maintenance} - \text{Corrosion})$
